Abstract

Women in the intensive subsample of the study completed multiple domains of assessment including diagnostic and other interviews and questionnaires when their child was aged approximately 30 months. Measurements include; parental and child mental health, physical health, demographic change, child temperament, lifestyle and relationship information, parenting, child behaviour. A range of filmed observational assessments of mothers and infants were completed (e.g. mother-infant interaction, executive function tasks, and laboratory tests of temperament). Some hypothesis driven experimental measures to assess infant development were completed. Physiological data was gathered from infants including cortisol reactivity to a social stressor and vagal tone during a range of control and stress related laboratory procedures.
