4,127 teachers of cohort members responded to a postal questionnaire assessing the child’s attainment, attitude to school work, behaviour and habits, and gave information on school absence. Cohort members completed a postal questionnaire about aspirations and interests, the questions of which comprised the Pintner Personality Inventory.
