Abstract

The H6 postal questionnaire was sent to all cohort members to ask about the family, health, employment, smoking, and sports participation and fitness. Two physicians used a dietary and health questionnaire at home visits to 172 of 238 cohort members invited to take part in a study of the effect of breast feeding, and who had been selected on that basis: see Marmot MG et al 1980 Journal of Epidemiology & Community Health, vol. 34, pp 164-167 for further information.
